Azeez and his team first updated our single-family home before we put it on the market. They did extensive sprucing-up including installing new LED recessed lighting, drywall repair, painting inside and out (including the deck), even landscaping for photo-ready curb appeal. the house sold in five days. Shortly after they completely gutted our new town-home, dated 1976. We were very short on time due to the contract terms, and what they accomplished was nothing short of a miracle. The basement was completely reconfigured, with low-maintenance tile floor and improved access to all the utilities. Complete renovation of two full and two half bathrooms, as well as inside painting with contrast walls. Every step of the process was texted to us with pictures, several times a day.
A few months later, we added the kitchen remodel, and Azeez and his team masterfully tackled quite a few unexpected, structural surprises due to the age of the house. All work is not only beautiful, but structurally sound and perfectly up to code (and trust me, I’ve had different experiences in the past!!). “I really lucked out by going with these guys. They arrived when they said they would, did a thorough job by the master technician himself not someone working under his license, didn’t try to up-sale me, and followed-up on the service call.

My air condition really needed a checkup especially when I have it set to 75 but the house remained a balmy 81 in the heat wave. After calling and leaving a message, AJ called me back within a couple of hours. He answered all my questions, concerns, gave me a quote for the services, and guaranteed a time for when the master technician will arrive. “BJ Global renovated 3 bathrooms and our kitchen, repainted the entire interior of our home, installed recessed lighting in several rooms, and performed several other smaller jobs (eg repairing broken balusters, etc).

We had a great experience with them. We found them to be extremely professional and honest and were excellent communicators. They sent me text, email, and/or phone updates every day while they were in the house. I never had to badger them to find out how things were going. If I had questions I never waited more than an hour for a phone call or email response and typically it was way less than that. The crew was at the house everyday by 7:30am, and didn’t miss a day of work.

We also appreciated that they always work with the same crew and that they were very upfront about cost, permitting, time line, etc. They finished the job on time to the day and about $4K under budget on materials. The crew was also great, they always were pleasant to have around and seemed to be extremely hard working.

In terms of how we managed the design and build elements of the work, I generally told them what I wanted and they ran with it finding ways to make it happen within our budget. For example, we didn’t have the budget to replace the cabinets or move the plumbing/gas lines around, but they did an amazing job reusing what was there already and working within the constraints of the gas/plumbing locations. They pulled everything out/off the walls, pulled out a wall, and redesigned and reconfigured everything in the new space.

They are a problem solvers. There are several examples where other contractors told some something wasn’t possible given my budget, but BJ Global took the time to look at the situation and find a solution. One example is we wanted to install a tub in our kids’ bathroom. Others told us it would have to be special order, costing thousands extra, or that it just wasn’t possible in the space without ripping down some walls and expanding the bathroom. BJ Global opened up the wall and changed the orientation of the joists, giving us a few extra inches and enough room for a standard sized tub. They didn’t make a big deal about it or charge me for it, they just did it. It was great.

In terms of price, we interviewed 3 design build firms in addition to them and they were very competitive. They also have a policy of taking care of small things around the house as part of their job. For example, our house had all sorts of useless cables everywhere (ethernet, land lines, etc.). They asked us if we wanted them to pull them and patch the walls and ended up doing that without charging us anything for it. There were several little things like that that came up that saved us having to hire a handyman. They didn’t penny pinch me for everything- if they could fix something easily while they were there they just did it. If there was a materials cost we paid that but they didn’t charge us for a 15 or 30 min job it was just part of their PR to do it to make me happy.

My only critique is that a few of the finishings (towel hooks etc.) were put in counterintuitive places or oriented strangely for me (i.e. faucet handles) in the bathroom. However, I told them and they came back and moved the hooks etc. around to where I wanted them no questions asked, no charge.

In short, they did an excellent job at a competitive price and their customer service is unparalleled.”

“I rarely have the opportunity to rate plumbers or contractors…and when I have had the chance encounter, service is average at best.

The name “BJ Global Enterprises” is misleading because it sounds like any business other than one that provides plumbing, renovation and contractor services. So don’t let the name fool you. My husband started by doing a Google search and found these guys, quite by accident, but based on our encounter with them in the past 2 days, we will be sending more business their way.

We had a tenant that left our apartment with lots of different issues. One being a knob that no longer turned the water off in the shower when turned to the off position. WHY they would leave and not tell us so that we could get it fixed in a timely manner, I don’t know. But we are rushed at this point because the new tenant was moving in on Saturday.

First, they tried to help us walk through the problem by suggesting a few simple things. When it turned out that wasn’t going to work, the person we called (I think it was AJ) made an appointment to show up the next day. They got there, realized that we only needed a new knob and basically said, no charge. It appeared it was just too little of an issue to charge. Anyone else would have charged us a service call of $75 – $150!

We had a second issue with the condo, but Sears had been called to come in and fix it. Only after waiting around an entire afternoon, did they get to the apartment and say, “oh by the way, we don’t do gas installs anymore…and oh, yeah, you need a plumber to fix that issue too.” (The issue was a washer hose replacement. We figured we had to call Sears since that was what another service company had said.) After Sears walked out of the condo I had no idea what to do. Hubby was gone out of town on business and I was there with a broken hose and needed someone that could push out the washer/dryer combo. And since this was a stackable combo unit, someone who knew about gas had to come out too.

Anyway, long story short, I called BJ Global back. Azeezaly “Azeez” and I talked over the phone and within an hour, he and 2 other guys came to fix the problem. Turned out to be a no -brainer for them, but such a problem for me. Again, Azeez said it was a simple problem and wouldn’t charge me. He said, tip the guys. And so I did.

I appreciate when a service company is honest, and willing to go above and beyond to help me out. For that kind of service, they will keep customers for life. Let me tell you, I’m looking for some additional work at my townhouse and these guys are now going to be the first people I call. FIVE STARS!!! Thank you Azeez!!”

“I experienced a high spike in my water bill and called BJ Global Enterprises to assess if I had any leaks or issues with my kitchen sink or 3 toilets in the house. Mr. Azeezaly Jaffer methodically asked me various questions, identified a service provider (James Christian), and was honest in identifying the types of problems they could take care of, and if the problem turned out to be more complex, he also shared the names of other companies who could do more complex services. “I’m reasonably good at small plumbing projects and when my daughter told me she was having a problem with her diverter spout on her tub I volunteered to replace it.
